Ventilation systems
A fresh future in a well-ventilated home
Local ventilation with heat retention
Local ventilation systems with heat retention are designed to ventilate individual rooms where there is no possibility or need to install a central system. They are compact units installed directly into the room’s wall. They operate by alternately supplying fresh air to the room and exhausting stale air. The heat from the outgoing stale air is stored in a ceramic heat exchanger, which transfers this energy to the incoming fresh air when the airflow direction switches, ensuring efficient heat retention.
Installation limitations
Local ventilation systems with heat retention are installed directly into the room’s wall. Only horizontal installation is possible, requiring a hole with a diameter of 172 mm. The minimum wall thickness for proper installation of the unit is 25 cm.
Installation recommendation
A local heat recovery unit is suitable for ventilating rooms up to approximately 25 m². When installing ventilation units in a house or apartment, the entire dwelling must be considered as a whole. Optimal efficiency of the ventilation system can only be achieved with the correct number of units and a proper placement. It is therefore recommended to carry out a system sizing before installation to determine the optimal number and positioning of units according to the size and layout of the rooms.
Installation
The local ventilation system can be installed in any room that needs to be ventilated. The system uses a ceramic heat exchanger to supply fresh air and remove exhaust air. In the bathroom, an exhaust fan is installed for continuous air extraction. Installation includes drilling openings in the exterior wall and connecting the system to a 220 V power supply, either on-wall or in-wall.
Central ventilation system with heat recovery
Centralni prezračevalni sistemi z rekuperacijo toplote zagotavljajo učinkovito in enakomerno prezračevanje celotnega objekta. Gre za napreden sistem, kjer A central ventilation system with heat recovery ensures efficient and uniform ventilation of the entire building. It is an advanced system in which the central unit controls the supply of fresh air and the extraction of exhaust air from all rooms through a network of ventilation ducts. In the ventilation unit, the heat from the exhaust air is transferred to the incoming fresh air via a heat exchanger. With an enthalpy heat exchanger, the system can also retain moisture in the room, which is especially beneficial in new buildings where indoor humidity is often too low during winter. naprava preko omrežja prezračevalnih kanalov skrbi za dovod svežega zraka in odvod izrabljenega zraka iz vseh prostorov.
Installation limitations
“In a central ventilation system, ducts with a diameter of 75 mm are installed to each supply or exhaust point. These ducts are then connected to distributors linked to the ventilation unit. The unit has two main connections: the fresh air intake and the exhaust air outlet, which supply fresh air into the building and remove stale air from the rooms.
It is not recommended to install the unit in very cold rooms or in rooms that are insufficiently insulated against outside temperatures, as this can negatively affect the performance of the system and its components.”
Installation recommendation
Before installing a central ventilation system, it is recommended that a qualified professional designs a plan for the system installation. It is especially important that all ducts and system components are correctly sized and properly installed, as this is the only way to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency. Note that when you purchase a ventilation system from Klin d.o.o., we provide system sizing free of charge. This ensures that the system is fully tailored to the needs of your building and delivers fresh and comforting air throughout the year.
Installation
A central ventilation system consists of a heat recovery unit connected to the outdoor fresh air intake, the exhaust air outlet, and the pipe manifold. The pipe manifolds can be arranged so that fresh air is delivered to bedrooms and living areas, while exhaust ducts are installed in the kitchen and bathroom.
Comparison of ventilation systems
Central ventilation system
- visoka učinkovitost izmenjave zraka (do 300 m³/h ali več)
- enostavna uporaba in vzdrževanje
- optimalna regulacija svežega zraka v celotnem prostoru
- zahtevnejša montaža v že dokončane objekte
- težje čiščenje ob nepravilnem vzdrževanju
- Cevi se navadno vgradijo v betonsko ploščo, estrih ali pod spuščen strop. Vključuje rekuperator, povezan z zunanjim zajemom svežega zraka, izpustom odpadnega zraka in cevnim razvodom
Local ventilation system
- enostavna montaža v že dokončane objekte
- enostavno čiščenje in vzdrževanje
- manjši pretoki zraka
- možnost vdora hladnega ali vročega zraka
- možnost hrupa iz okolice
- V zunanje stene se izvrtajo odprtine, skozi katere se vgradi lokalni prezračevalni sistem. Do vsake odprtine je potrebno pripeljati električno napeljavo
